I love British food. Britain is Nirvana cuisine-wise to me. To me, traditional British fare is Indian, followed by Chinese, chased by scruptous breakfast (full cooked English Breakfast with bangers and hash browns as well as my all-time favourite Porridge), meat and three veggie dinners, and of course fish’n’chips (or fush’n’chups, as we Kiwis say). [...]
is another fun song by Fatboy Slim. I am not from Brighton either, but I will be living there from May! Yay! Sun, beaches, palmtrees, cafes, Wellington feel – but all within 52 minute reach of London. Far out! Not that I won’t be coming to Vienna any more, we have a business there, and [...]

So this whole blackout thing seems to have had a positive effect. Apparantly the law has been delayed… and if there is no resolution until 27 March, it will not take effect at all. Cheers to everybody who supported this!

Read this. And you’ll know why I’ll be blacking out this site on Monday as well. This legislation is – frankly spoken – major BS! Join in the protest!

Finally… the fruit of our labour can be seen on www.filmtiki.com! We just went live today. I am very humbled and grateful for this. If you don’t know what I’m talking about: the last 9 months I have been working pretty much day and night on the development of my brainchild FilmTiki – a platform [...]

I love stencils. I have a stencil by a Wellington stencil artist working under the cloak of “YEAH… NAH” in my parents basement (orange spray paint on brown coloured wood). It’s sitting there until such a time when I decide to move into a place for longer than 2 months again (along with all my [...]

My dad told me about this story weeks ago. It went on while I was in Vancouver. This is what happened: “Demonstrators protest the proposed 700 billion USD Wall Street bail-out in front of the New Yoprk Stock Exchange in the Financial District in New York on September 25, 2008. In response to the global [...]

Well, probably not. Still, this is freakin hilarious! Apparently, everybody’s favourite New Zealand pizza chain Hell’s Pizza had an ad going that had Sir Edmund Hilary, Heath Ledger and the Queen Mother dancing to Michael Jackson’s thriller. They caused offense, so the pulled the ad off the air. I have a theory on who they [...]

I found this in my RSS feed – in one of my favourite silly but not silly blogs yesbutnobutyes. What type are you? (And if you worked at Telus in advertising, what would you do?)

This is one of my favourite songs by The Clash. I have been listening to it quite a bit, and I wanted to post the lyrics because they unfortunately still have validity, also in the countries I move about. Read them, listen to the song, and do something! This is a public service announcement With [...]
