Coming out October 2nd in the US, this is compulsory viewing for the readers of this blog. Though I think that Michael Moore doesn’t convey as much information and background in his docos as the guys behind the fantastic The Corporation, or Enron, he does a very good job at making a point to a wider audience (which normally might not think about these things quite so much), and a good one at that. Go see this movie!

My dad told me about this story weeks ago. It went on while I was in Vancouver. This is what happened: “Demonstrators protest the proposed 700 billion USD Wall Street bail-out in front of the New Yoprk Stock Exchange in the Financial District in New York on September 25, 2008. In response to the global financial crisis, protesters, from a variety of activist groups, denounced the capitalist system, Wall Street and the administration of US President George W, Bush.”

I am a huuuuuuge fan of the likes of Naomi Klein, Noam Chomsky and many of them intellectual folks who are rallying against the capitalist madness in our societies. And while I would never wish death upon anyone, a drastic statement like this image make my left ventricle swell!
